Oh my gosh!  I LOVE garlic!  The stinky perpetrator of ultimate health and goodness.  Garlic has been around and utilized pretty much since the beginning of time due to its amazing healing benefits.
It has been enjoyed for its incredible flavor and its ability to aid in a number of health problems.  Garlic has been shown time and time again to aid in restoring well being to those who suffer from almost any disease or infection due to various compounds.  One of which is sulfur (also found in onions).  Sulfur holds marvelous healing properties.
Healing is the name of the game with this illustrious, bulbous plant.  Garlic is a natural antibiotic (as well as antibacterial).  So, folks, if you can, push aside those prescription antibiotic drugs that wipe out all of your beneficial gut bacteria and try a gift from the soil first.  It can be eaten fresh, taken in supplement form, or created into garlic oil.
In addition, this mighty bulb is a detoxifier for the body and protects against infection by enhancing your immune system.  Keep this in mind!  Especially with the change in seasons.  A lot of you are becoming nasty, little germ factories!
Moreover, garlic is good for heart health.  Many people find that supplementing with garlic in pill form has been more effective than their prescription drugs for lowering cholesterol, blood pressure (due to a component that dilates the blood vessel walls), and preventing heart attacks.  Garlic also puts up a fight against fungal infections (yea, you with the funky Athlete's foot!), cancer, circulatory problems, insomnia, digestive issues, arthritis, asthma, cold and flu, and more.
So do yourself a favor and eat up!  If you're worried about clearing out a room with your fantastic stench then hit up your local health food store and buy it in supplement form.  This is also the more concentrated, heavy duty way to get the job done.
If you are a true lover of garlic like myself, you might even be bold enough to pay a visit to the garlic capital of the world in Gilroy, California.  You can enjoy garlic in any way imaginable there including garlic ice cream!  Vanilla or chocolate.  Its your choice.  Yum!
Wishing you all the best of health and happiness,
                                                                                                                                                                        Stacy xoxo
