      Happy almost Thanksgiving, beautiful people!!!  This quintessential day marks the official kick off of the holiday season.  These are the days of food, family, and other company that might find their way to your dinner table.  
    Just a few things to keep in mind...yes, do enjoy all of the traditional delicacies that find their way on to your plate, but perhaps go in with the mentality of sampling a little bit of everything rather than piling your plate high and going back for seconds.  Again, the key word is sampling.  I know Thanksgiving only comes once a year, but leftovers are such a treat for the following day.  It will be there tomorrow, if you don't eat it all today!  Also, please do yourself a favor and CHEW your food.  Your stomach does not have teeth.  Take it slow, taste your food, and remember that it takes 20 minutes for the brain to get the message from the belly that you are full.  In order to reach this satiety, make it a point, if possible, to support your local turkey and veggie farmers.  Embrace happy food and supporting good people in your community.  Lastly, practice gratitude.  Scroll through the 'ol memory bank and remember what you are grateful for in your life and thank those loved ones and special people that have impacted the life that you're living.
    I know that I have a long list of incredible folks that I owe many thanks to for their support and unconditional love and, for this, I am forever grateful.  So, for all of my amazing fans, friends, family, and those that will, hopefully, become one of the former mentioned, please enjoy a happy and a healthy Turkey day and gobble on.
